Are Dyson Vacuums Really That Much Better?

!±8± Are Dyson Vacuums Really That Much Better?

If you're thinking about shelling out the dough for a Dyson vacuum, you need to read this article. We're going to look at how they work, why they're so much more money than other brands, and whether it's worth spending that extra money.

Dyson vacuums have become pretty popular over the past few years. Their Cyclone technology is supposed to be much more powerful and efficient for picking up dirt and spills. But how much of this is fact and how much is just good advertising?

The fact is, it's a little bit of both. Dyson vacuums are more effective than a lot of other brands. This is especially true for their handheld models, which are typically a lot stronger than your typical Dustbuster-style vacuum.

But they've also made a bit of a name for themselves by positioning their equipment at the high end of the market, both through their advertising and the prices they charge. Whether they're worth the extra money is debatable.

Many other brands of vacuums, such as Hoover, Eureka, and Dirt Devil, have come up with competing models to Dyson that use similar technologies. These models are often more expensive than a typical vacuum from those same companies, but often still less than a comparable Dyson.

So is it worth spending the extra money on a Dyson? In most cases, I'd have to say no. You can get a comparable model from other brands for less money that will do just as good a job.

Dyson does have some cool designs though, so if you're the type of person who enjoys using well-designed equipment, and you're willing to pay a little extra for that experience, Dyson is definitely the way to go.

If you are still interested in a Dyson vacuum, one way to possibly save some money is to do your shopping online. Websites like Amazon.com often offer discounts on Dyson products, and you can sometimes find good deals on used (or sometimes brand new) vacuums on eBay or Craigslist. Just make sure you do your homework first, since you can't actually try them before you buy.
