Hoover SteamVac Agility with a (weight)
This is my Hoover SteamVac Agility that I bought maybe four years ago. I've had no issues with it but I never really liked it very well for the simple fact that I felt it didn't extract as much water as it should! I don't know if it was because I have low pile berber carpet or what but it didn't seem like the front of the machine was meeting the carpet heavy enough. I added a ten pound weight and just taped it onto the top and it stays on fine and doesn't seem to be causing the machine any harm at all. I can say I'm amazed at how much MORE water it pulls up just by doing this. I can saturate the carpet pretty good and they are left barely damp and dry within maybe 4 hours max. Not sure if this method will work with other upright steam cleaners but if you have issues with yours not extracting as much water as you think it should, try it. It makes it a little heavier but not much :) Thanks for watching
